Zinc Football Academy boys, representing DAV HZL School in Zawar participated in the Under-17 Subroto Cup 2019-20 qualifiers with an aim to claim the top spot to have the honours of representing Rajasthan at the national level.
We have created history as our young team (all of whom are under 15 years) have not only claimed the Under-17 Subroto Cup Qualifiers but dominated their opponents throughout. Played among the 13 best schools in the state, our boys, though didn’t possess the physical advantage going into the tournament, came out as the only unbeaten side in the tournament, scoring 19 goals and conceding just 1, which was also a self-goal.
The boys have made us all proud, and are showing fantastic results – a reflection of the tremendous work being done by our teams at the academy. The boys will now be representing Rajasthan in the Subroto Cup Nationals to be held later in August.
It is definitely one step towards, Desh Ka Sapna, Goal Apna!
