Subroto Cup Football Tournament is the most famous inter-school football tournament in India. Conducted by the Indian Air Force, this tournament provides an opportunity for the best school team in a state to participate in the Subroto Cup Nationals.
Our Zinc Football Academy kids are leaving no stone unturned ahead of the Under-17 qualifiers of the prestigious Subroto Cup, slated to be held at DPS Jhunjhunu.
Representing DAV HZL School, Zawar Mines, our academy boys, all of whom are under the age of 15 years, will be vying for the top spot in the qualifiers which will see the best 13 schools from Rajasthan contesting to claim the spot and grab the honours of representing Rajasthan at the national level.
The 13 teams have been divided into four groups, with our boys placed in a tough Group C along with Cambridge Court High School from Jaipur, Price Academy Sikar and CH MRM Senior Sec. Public School from Sri Ganganagar. The group toppers from all four groups will march onto the semi-finals scheduled on May 3, with the grand finale to be played later on the same date.
Hopefully, they will penetrate the qualifiers and make history by qualifying for the Subroto Cup Nationals 2019-20.
