The under-18 team of Zinc Football Academy touched down in Goa on 5th April to play three friendly matches against Super 30, Dempo Sports Club (Under-18) and India Under-16 National Camp Team.
The tour was an amazing learning experience for our young players and coaches as they got the better of Team Super 30 convincingly 3-0 before creating history by defeating Dempo Sports Club 2-1 at their home ground, making us one of the very few teams to beat the veteran club at their fortress.
In the final match of our tour, our team went down narrowly 1-2 to India Under-16 National Camp team but the opposition coaches as well as the local fans were left fazed by the performance of our budding footballers and how they fought till the final whistle.
