Momentum meets opportunity…

Our Zinc Football Academy senior team return to action today as they face Mumbay FC in their second Group B fixture of the I-League 3 in Imphal, Manipur.

After an impressive 3–1 victory on matchday one, ZFA head into this clash with confidence and a slight edge in the group standings. A positive result today would further strengthen their position at the top and build early momentum in the competition.

It’s been a strong start. Now comes the challenge of sustaining it.

Having arrived in Imphal straight after their Rajasthan League campaign, ZFA have adapted quickly to the conditions and demands of the tournament. Despite the short turnaround, the squad has shown great energy and composure… signs of a team growing into the competition with each passing game.

The confidence within the camp is evident.

With all players fit and available, ZFA are expected to field a similar lineup to their opening match, aiming to build on the chemistry and rhythm already established.

Mumbay FC, meanwhile, will pose a fresh challenge, and ZFA will need another disciplined and complete performance to secure all three points.
