DFA Udaipur’s triumphant campaign in the U-16 Asmita Football League 2025–26 was powered by standout individual performances, with goalkeeper Pratigya and forward Sakshi playing pivotal roles in the team’s success.
15-year-old Pratigya emerged as a commanding presence between the posts, earning the Best Goalkeeper of the tournament award for her consistent and composed performances, keeping two cleansheets in three matches. A part of ZFA’s first-ever girls’ Academy batch, launched in 2025, she has developed through sheer discipline, hard work, and a strong sense of responsibility on the field. Leading quietly by example, she capped off her impressive campaign by also scoring a stunning long-range goal.
Sakshi, another 15-year-old from the same inaugural batch, made her mark in attack and rose to the occasion in the biggest game of the tournament. She was named Player of the Match in the final after scoring a crucial brace to guide DFA Udaipur to a 3-1 victory. A talented and disciplined forward, Sakshi finished the tournament with three important goals in three matches, consistently delivering in key moments. She now looks to continue developing her game and push for greater heights with ZFA.
It is a proud moment for Zinc Football family, with 12 players from the program representing DFA Udaipur… 10 from the Academy and 2 from the ZF Community School.
