ZFA continue winning run with an intense victory over Jaipur City FC.

Our Zinc Football Academy girls team secured an important 3–1 win over Jaipur City FC in Matchday 5 of the Rajasthan League Senior Women’s A-Division 2025–26, keeping our title hopes firmly alive.

Coming into the match, opposition Jaipur City FC were high on confidence following their impressive draw against table-toppers Magan Singh Rajvi FA, while our Zawar-based Academy team equally motivated to maintain their winning momentum in a crucial phase of the league.

ZFA made a strong start and took the lead early in the 7th minute through striker Priyanka. Receiving a well-timed pass from midfielder Antra on the edge of the box, she turned sharply and fired a precise shot to open the scoring. The early goal dented Jaipur City FC’s morale, but they responded with determination, making it an end-to-end contest for the remainder of the first half. ZFA, however, held their advantage going into the break at 1–0.

The second half began in perfect fashion for ZFA as they doubled their lead shortly after the restart. Captain for the day, Antra, made an impressive run into the box, received a cross from the wing, dribbled past two defenders, and calmly slotted the ball home to make it 2–0.

Jaipur City FC found a way back into the game through a counter-attacking opportunity. ZFA goalkeeper Sonam slipped while attempting to collect a cross inside the box, allowing the opposition striker to capitalise and reduce the deficit to 2–1, injecting renewed energy into the contest.

With 12 minutes of added time, Jaipur City FC pushed hard in search of an equaliser. However, ZFA held their composure and sealed the victory in dramatic fashion. Winger Dangi Mardi broke forward midway through stoppage time and finished clinically to make it 3–1, securing all three points for ZFA.

It was another determined performance from the young ZFA side, who showed composure under pressure to extend their winning run and stay firmly in the title race.
