Our Zinc Football Academy takes immense pride in celebrating the academic achievements of two of its Under-18 players, Himanshu and Sanjay, who secured 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively, in the Class 12 board examinations at DAV HZL School in Zawar Mines.

This milestone is a true reflection of the holistic development approach under Hindustan Zinc’s CSR initiative Zinc Football, which emphasizes equal focus on education and football. Both players were integral members of the historic ZFA Under-18 team that finished as runners-up this season in the AIFF Under-18 National League 2025–26, and have now mirrored that excellence in the classroom.

Himanshu, a winger from Hanumangarh in Rajasthan, scored an impressive 78.2%, with his highest marks in Physical Education (89). Sanjay, a defender from Hisar in Haryana, secured 77.6%, excelling in Painting with a remarkable 97, showcasing his creativity beyond the football field.

Reflecting on their achievement, both players shared: “It’s an honour for us to be appreciated. We believe in focusing equally on education and football, and that balance is reflected in our results. Managing tournaments alongside exams is not easy, but the constant support from our coaches at ZFA and teachers at DAV HZL School has helped us immensely. They guide not just us, but every player.”

This accomplishment stands as a proud moment for Hindustan Zinc and Zinc Football, reinforcing the vision of nurturing well-rounded individuals who excel in every sphere.
