Our Zinc Football Academy footballers have been selected for the upcoming SGFI (School Games Federation of India) U-14 School Championship, which is slated to be held in Kokrajhar (Assam) from 27th November-30th November 2018.
Our boys will be representing DAV HZL School (Zawar Mines) in the tournament. Since this will be the first time that our boys will be competing out of their territory, a training schedule has been confirmed in New Delhi before we travel to Northeast India for the much-awaited competition. It is worth noting that from all the DAV schools in Rajasthan, only Zawar Mines has been selected.
The upcoming tournament will be the first real test faced by our Zinc Football boys, as they look to go a notch higher in their development. The boys have been practicing real hard, and have training day in and day out.
Under the tutelage of their head coach and backroom staff, they will be gunning for glory in Assam, and will give in their best against all odds. This tournament will be good source of exposure for them, as it will also be the first time they will playing competitively outside Rajasthan. It will be interesting to see how they perform, and hopefully will reap the benefits of the hard work, which they have put in all these days.
