Our Zinc Football Academy footballers have earned the honour to represent Rajasthan at the Under-14 Subroto Cup to be held later in August. Conducted by the Indian Air Force, with support from India’s Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports
It was truly a blockbuster day for Zinc Football when Indian football’s biggest superstar, Sunil Chhetri, made a very special visit to our academy in Zawar on July 27 2019. And what a huge hit it turned out to be!
Zinc Football Academy boys, representing DAV HZL School in Zawar participated in the Under-17 Subroto Cup 2019-20 qualifiers with an aim to claim the top spot to have the honours of representing Rajasthan at the national level.
Subroto Cup Football Tournament is the most famous inter-school football tournament in India. Conducted by the Indian Air Force, this tournament provides an opportunity for the best school team in a state to participate in the Subroto Cup Nationals.
Meet Payal Prajapat—the 12-year-old girl who is blazing a trail and going toe to toe with the boys on the football pitch. Payal is one of the trainees at a Zinc Football School in Dariba Epicentre and the only girl in the team.
The newly inducted Under-16 boys of Sesa Football Academy from Goa were in a pre-season tour to our Zinc Football Academy.
The match-up between the boys from Zinc Football Academy versus the men from Hindustan Zinc Limited promised to throw up some interesting surprises, and sure enough it did!

Indian legendary footballer and Arjuna Awardee Magan Singh Rajvi visited our Zinc Football Academy in Zawar. The former captain, who also won bronze medal at the 1970 Asian Games, engaged in an interactive session with the young footballers and coaches of Zinc Football.
Zinc Football hosted the award-winning non-profit organisation ‘Coaches Across Continents’ for a four-day coaching development course in December. 60 Zinc Football coaches from the epicentres arrived in Zawar to be part of this unique learning experience.
