Zinc Football hosted the award-winning non-profit organisation ‘Coaches Across Continents’ for a four-day coaching development course in December. 60 Zinc Football coaches from the epicentres arrived in Zawar to be part of this unique learning experience.
Coaches Across Continents, which works in 56 countries across six continents, is known for using sport as a vehicle for social impact. As part of the contingent, Ashlyn Hardie, McKenzie Meehan, Moritz Guertler and Jesse DiLuzio from the organisation interacted with various stakeholders at the programme over the duration of the course.
The sessions addressed the common problems of gender equality, female empowerment, health and wellness, maximum participation, creating safe spaces and the ways they affect the society along with the importance of social inclusion, character building and life skills with the help of football.
