The under-15 team of Zinc Football Academy travelled to New Delhi and Chandigarh to play three friendly matches as part of their preparations for the upcoming AIFF Under-15 Youth League 2023-24.

In our pursuit of continuous development in coaching methodologies, Zinc Football Academy, a CSR initiative of Hindustan Zinc, hosted a day-long coaches’ workshop.

Rajasthan’s 40-year long wait of producing a national talent has finally come to an end as Udaipur-based Zinc Football Academy’s Mohammed Kaif has etched his name in the history books by playing a pivotal role in India’s victorious campaign at the SAFF Under-16 Championship in Bhutan.
16-year-old Atul Kumar Meena is from Newa Talai village in Udaipur district, a few kilometers away from the Zinc Football Academy. Atul’s father, who is a physical education teacher in a school in Zawar Mines, has always encouraged him to get into sports.
The whole footballing fraternity was taken by surprise when NorthEast United FC announced Lalengmawia as the captain of the Highlanders, making him the youngest captain in the history of Indian Super League.
Former Indian Football Team Captain Renedy Singh, one of the best-known woman footballers of India Oinam Bembem Devi and President of Football Delhi and Ex-South Central Asia Development Officer for FIFA Shaji Prabhakaran have joined Vedanta Hindustan Zinc-initiated Zinc Football as part of the advisory board for the programme.
