Zinc Football Academy continued their hot form to produce another quality performance, defeating Corbett FC from Uttarakhand 2-0 in the Round of 16 match of the Hero Under-17 Youth Cup in Hyderabad.
Defender Sanjay opened the scoring with a beautiful free-kick to hand ZFA the lead in the opening half. In the second half, Subhash Damor added another in the dying minutes to confirm ZFA’s spot in the quarter-finals.
Our young team is yet to concede a goal in the tournament and will next face Sudeva FC Delhi on 26th January in the Round of 8.
