Zinc Football Academy bagged their first silverware of 2023 after a dramatic 3-2 win over Rajasthan United FC in the final of the of the first-ever open day-night tournament held in Rajsamand.
The Zawar-based Academy started their campaign with a 4-0 victory over Marwar Club Jodhpur followed by a 2-0 win against Bikaner FC. In the semi-final encounter, goalkeeper Ansay Goyari’s heroics in the penalty shootout led Zinc Football Academy to a 3-2 win over AG Jaipur FC after the match ended goalless in normal time.
Aman Khan was adjudged Player of the Tournament for his impressive and consistent display throughout the tournament.
